Account Deletion Request

If you wish to delete your account associated with REPSLog, follow the steps below:

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the REPSLog app.

2. Go to Settings > Delete Account.

3. Confirm your request and follow the instructions.

Data Deletion & Retention

When you delete your account, the following is deleted and cannot be recovered:

• Your work log entries, properties, categories and participants
• Every file you attached, including images and documents
• Your settings and preferences, your API keys, your passkeys, and any AI assistant connection
• Your calendar connections and booking calendars, including the bookings we stored
• Everything we worked out from your entries: the search index, the descriptions of your files, your hours totals and your activity suggestions

We also remove your information from our sign-in, push notification and product analytics providers, and we ask the advertising platforms we work with to drop you from their lists.

A few records are kept on purpose. None of them is the content of your log:

• Billing and tax records, including your subscription and payment history. Tax and accounting law requires us to keep these, so we cannot delete them on request.
• Referral and affiliate records, which say how you found REPSLog. Where somebody referred you, we owe them a payment and we have to be able to show what was owed and why.
• Support conversations, if you have contacted us, for five years after your last message.
• Administrative and security records, including a one-way scrambled copy of your email address on the deletion request itself. That is how we keep you off advertising lists without keeping your address. We keep these for as long as we need them to keep honouring your request and to show that we acted on it.
• Technical error reports, which record that something failed and for which account and, for requests to our servers, the network address and request headers involved. Our error reporting provider deletes these automatically after a short period.
• Logs of AI requests held by our infrastructure provider, and your account identifier held by our marketing analytics provider. We do not currently remove these when you close your account.
• Usage records with your identity removed, kept for as long as they tell us something useful about how REPSLog is used, and then aggregated. We take out what identifies you: the text of your entries, your property addresses and your email address. What is left describes how REPSLog was used, not who used it.

Deletion takes effect straight away in the systems that run REPSLog. The identifying information is removed from our analytics store within about two days. A copy can survive in our routine backups for up to 60 days, isolated from any further use, until the backup expires on its own. We do not restore a backup in order to bring deleted information back.
